David Calcutt writes plays and poems as well as stories. Some of his plays have been broadcast on BBC Radio and some are published for use in schools, youth theaters and colleges. He has also directed several large-scale community plays. More recently he has been writing poems for children inspired by Sandwell Valley Country Park in the West Midlands of England.
